This simple recipe makes an all-natural face cleanser suitable for all skin types, particularly sensitive skin. It’s a dough-like consistency that you use a small amount of and then dilute in water in your hand. You then rub it on your skin, and it gently picks up oil and makeup, which rinses away without the need for soap. It’s gentle yet exfoliating and also cleans without stripping your skin of natural moisture. This recipe makes enough for a month’s supply.
Place all the ingredients except the lavender buds in a bowl and mix.
Scrape the mixture onto a sheet of grease-proof paper and squish it into a ball.
Using part of the paper between your hand and the ball, flatten the ball and then sprinkle on the remaining lavender buds.
Roll it up and store it in a water-tight container with a fitted lid.
