Disclosure Policy & Disclaimer Statements

I earn a living as a content creator by hosting ads on this site, using affiliate links to recommended products, selling my own digital products, and creating sponsored content (always clearly marked as sponsored).

Any site with affiliate links and advertisements will be using cookies. This Privacy Policy explains cookies and voluntary data collection in detail.

The Lovely Greens Newsletter and new posts by email are private and protected and never used for any other purposes.

This website is intended for entertainment and informational purposes only, and any information is used entirely at your own risk.

Disclosure Policy

This policy is valid from 8 October 2026

This website is a personal site owned, written, and edited by Tanya Anderson, trading as Lovely Greens.

This website (Tanya Anderson) accepts forms of cash advertising and sponsorships and abides by word-of-mouth marketing standards. We believe in honesty of relationship, opinion, and identity. The compensation received may influence topics or posts made in this website but never opinions. That content or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

The owner of this website is occasionally compensated to provide opinions on products, services, websites, and various other topics. These have clear disclosure statements at the beginning of each article. Even though the owner of this website receives compensation for her posts or advertisements, she always gives her honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products.

The views and opinions expressed on this website are purely the writers’ own. Any product claim, statistic, quote, or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider, or party in question.

This website does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.

Disclaimer

This website contains general information about soapmaking, food recipes, home and garden DIY projects, and ideas for entertainment purposes only.

The information is not advice and should not be treated as such.

While we do our best to provide useful information, any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk and not a substitute for medical, legal, or any other professional advice of any kind.

How do you earn a living as a content creator?

Advertisements on this website

Throughout this site, you will see ads within the content, footer, sidebars, recipe cards, and header. Potentially other places, too. Raptive serves these advertisements, and I earn a small commission per view. Please visit the privacy page to learn more.

I post lots of soap recipes, food recipes, and DIY tutorials, and I recommend products by linking to them on affiliate sites. You might choose to shop there (or not), but these links also help show which products I am talking about so you know what to look for wherever you shop.

I may earn a small commission (at no additional cost to you) if you click through on one of my affiliate links while the browser cookie is being tracked and still active. I am currently an affiliate of AdSense, Amazon, Awin, Epic Gardening, Herbal Academy, Just a Soap, MIGardener, PlantSurge, Stark Bros, Thirsty Earth, Thrivecart, and Vegepod.

I may also link to products I like through other affiliates, and I’ll show the source so you know where to buy them if you are interested.

Amazon Affiliate Disclosure

Tanya Anderson, trading as Lovely Greens, is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Creating Content on Other Sites

On occasion, I write content for other websites. You will see this disclosed in a post here if I am sharing the content.

Digital Products

I have published a few eBooks and courses, and there will no doubt be more in the future. Some are free, but I sell most of them.

Sponsored Posts

I get offered many sponsored post opportunities but rarely accept them. If I do, I always include a disclosure at the start of the post so you know I received either a sample product or compensation to write it. In these posts, all opinions are always my own.

Do you accept guest posts?

I occasionally invite other garden writers to write guest posts for Lovely Greens. However, I do not accept unsolicited guest post proposals.

No.
