Garden Living & Making

Live simply, grow your own food, make natural things.

I’m Tanya and I love sharing creative and natural ideas for the home and garden. Through blogs and videos Lovely Greens shows how to grow organic vegetables, herbs, and flowers, and then use them to make wholesome meals and handmade beauty products.

I’m also a huge fan of upcycling waste materials. You’ll find tutorials on my blog for creating everything from strawberry pallet planters to cut wine bottle candles.

The two most popular topics on Lovely Greens are Organic Gardening and how to make Natural Soap.

Here are some popular ideas this month:

The Island

Over seven years ago I moved from the city to a place that you’ve probably never heard of before — the Isle of Man. It’s an island made up of rolling green hills, forested glens, and only about 83K people.

Born in the United States, I’ve lived all over the world including the south pacific, Europe, and Great Britain. I get quite a few comments on my accent over on YouTube so hopefully this explains it more. The Isle of Man is my forever home now though and I love the peacefulness and small community on the Island.

When I’m not blogging I’m giving soapmaking lessons and locally retailing Lovely Greens products. I also have a classic VW Camper named Daisy Blue, two mischievous Korat cats, two colonies of honeybees, and an allotment garden. I share more on the garden over here.

Social Media

I share new content daily on my blog, Facebook page, YouTube, Twitter, or Instagram so find me over there. I’m also a huge fan of Pinterest.

You can sign up for my twice-monthly newsletter through the form below. It will arrive in your email inbox and give you an update on what’s been on Lovely Greens as well as seasonal ideas and recipes.

Thanks for visiting
